12/13-12/17 Online Publishing
By being in this class I have learned a lot about what type of writer I am. I think in the past three months I wrote more than I did in the past year. It’s crazy on how much I learned. I don’t really have a writing process when I begin to write. I get the task, and just begin. I feel like it’s easier that way rather than just sitting there thinking about it and trying to plan everything out. I like to write what immediately comes out of my brain. When I begin writing, the wheels in my brain start spinning and my fingers start typing. Maybe I would be a better writer if I actually planned what I was going to write. But until I try that technique, I will continue to write spontaneously. I like to write about my life, and make up stories. I feel like they’re both easy subjects. With writing stories there is no end, you can just keep writing for as long as you want. And writing about my life is easy because I know that most about my life. My life is filled with so much; it’s not that hard to express anything! I dislike writing about anything I don’t like or agree with. I don’t like having to write anything when I have to go deep into my feelings. I’m not that deep of a person so it’s very difficult for me. For an example, I dislike writing meaningful poems and such. I like being right to the point. I’m not sure if this class has improved my writing at all, but I know for sure it’s easier to write things. I feel like I’m struggling as much to find things to say. Online publishing has taught me a lot about myself and writing.
