11/15-11/19 What Is Winning?

What is winning? I think winning could have two meanings. One meaning is actually winning a competition or game and the other meaning could simply be just doing your best. Winning is being the best there is and becoming the best by earning an award or title. An example of a title could be all-star champion, and the final winner. By winning you could earn a medal, trophy, ribbon or certificate. Winning is a great feeling and makes someone feel so much better about their self. I think winning could emotionally change a person positively and negatively. Winning could make someone not be so nervous to express their talent. At first they could be lacking confidence, and then after they win, they have more faith. Or, if someone wins they might get over conceited about it and think they’re too good for everyone else. Someone may become evil if they always win. But even if you don’t win the title of “a winner” you could still be a winner. That is if you try your best and be a good sport at whatever you do. Winning could be being a good teammate and contributing to the team positively. I believe everyone is a winner if they try to win and have fun doing it. Being lazy and negative is not a winner. If a teammate is losing throughout the whole game, a winner would keep trying and not give up. They would go all the way. And at the end of the game, they continue to be a winner by being a good sport. A winner would congratulate the opponent and continue to be positive. A winner would tell themselves that they will do better next time and will try even harder in practice. A winner could be an actual winner who is awarded the best title or just simply someone who tries.
