11/15-11/19 What I Am Thankful For

Thanksgiving is a time for giving thanks. The pilgrims came over to America and had a celebration with the Native Americans to thank god for their new life. Today, we celebrate Thanksgiving with family by eating turkey, corn, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie. I am thankful for so many things in my life. Without so many things in my life, I would probably go crazy. I am probably most thankful for my parents. Without my parents, I wouldn’t be who I was today. Let alone I wouldn’t even be living here today if it wasn’t for them. They have shown me and given me so much I couldn’t be happier. I am so thankful for everything they do. Ever since I was young, they have taught me to do the right thing. They have taught me to strive for excellence and do my very best. And even if I don’t do as good as I plan in whatever, I have learned from them to be happy anyways. I am also thankful for all that they provided me with. My parents spoil me and I am so thankful for everything they gave me. My family always puts me in a good mood when I’m feeling a little down. I am also very thankful for my friends. They also put me in a good mood and make going to school worthwhile. My best memories are spent with my best friends. I don’t know what I would do without them. My friends are there for me when I need somebody. I could always count on them for a good time. Finally, the other important thing I am thankful for is that I am healthy. I see so many kids who are suffering from certain diseases and I feel so bad. I can’t imagine going through some of the things these kids have to go through; it’s just awful. So, in my life, I am most thankful for my parents, friends and good health.
