10/25-10/29 Mother Teresa
The person that influenced me the most during my seventeen years on this world would have to be my mother. She has been there for me no matter what and I want to be just like her when I’m older. So many people are already telling me how much I’m like my mother; not only physically but the way I act, too. My mom is so special in so many ways. Her attitude about everything is so positive, which is one reason why I nick named her Mother Teresa. My mother’s name is Terese, so the name fit perfectly. Her quality of work is amazing, and even though I don’t understand everything about her job, I know she’s always doing a good job. I know this because she is always bringing me home goodies and free concert tickets. Her work ethics, dedication and determination are qualities of work I hope to gain when I’m older. She is always taking her job serious and getting rewarded for it. Throughout my school years, she has pushed me to excel in all my classes, even if I didn’t enjoy them. She wants me to feel content with my grades knowing I tried my best. My mom is also always in a good mood; she never yells at me or punishes me. Well, that’s probably because I’m an angel daughter and I never do anything wrong. So in that case, she never has anything to yell at me for. My mother is also very caring, which is another major reason why I look up to her. To my mom, everyone else comes first. No matter what the situation is, she will always go out of her way for me. I will always look up to my mother and without my mother I don’t know what I would do.

10/25-10/29 Ryan Pinkowski
The male brain is very confusing to me so I’m not sure how Ryan Pinkowski spends his free time. I don’t understand how boys enjoy doing the things they do or why they think the stupidest things are funny. I think Ryan Pinkowski plays a lot of video games just like the rest of the male population our age does. I would guess that he plays games such as Call Of Duty and Halo. Boys can spend so many hours playing videos so I’m going to say Pinky spends most of his time playing video games. He probably gets together with all of his friends and have Call Of Duty tournaments. Also, while playing video games I would guess he enjoys listening to classic rock. I could picture him listening to bands such as Pink Floyd, The Who and ACDC. I could picture him singing out loud and bobbing his head. The last time I knew Pinky worked at Carbones Pizzeria. I’m assuming that since he works at a pizzeria, he makes pizzas. So he probably works a few days a week to get the cash rolling in. With his money from Carbones he will go to the store and buy his favorite albums and the newest video games. When his friends come over for a video game tournament, they also sit in a circle and read their favorite comic books. I could picture Pinky’s comics being the funniest and everyone laughing out loud while he reads them. If Pinky is not at Carbones, I could also picture him playing computer games. The computer games are probably extremely violent. I couldn’t picture Pinky working on homework or studying on his free time. On Pinky’s free time I would assume he is making a lot of people laugh just like I always see him doing during school.
10/25-10/29 A Time In My Life That I Was Injured
So let’s travel back to the summer of 2000, when I was about seven years old. I was sleeping over at my best friend’s house, Kelsey Osucha. It was just a typical sleepover; probably one out of fifty we had that summer. We were having a grand old time just like we always did. Kels and I were in the basement pulling each other on a blanket. One of us would sit on the blanket while the other would pull it. I remember Mrs. Osucha telling us, “stop someone will get hurt.” But of course be the little rebels that we were, we kept doing it. I’ m not quite sure why we kept doing it, when I think about it now it doesn’t seem that fun. But there we were pulling each other on that Barbie print blanket. It was finally my turn, so I hoped on the blanket onto my hands and knees and Kels started to pull. Right as she took the first pull, I fell forward onto my face right on the tile ground. I remember it not hurting that bad, but hurt enough to be concerned. I asked Kelsey if I was bleeding and she replied with, “No you’re fine, let’s do it again.” But then all of a sudden I tasted the blood. Kelsey, although still wanted to continue to play, also noticed the blood dripping from my lip. She grabbed me and pulled me upstairs to wake up her mother. Mrs. Osucha took me into that bathroom and gave me a towel to stop the blood. As I looked into the mirror, I could see that I had a big gash beneath my lower lip. It didn’t hurt as bad as it looked. I remember Mrs. Osucha being worried that I would need stitches or have to go to the hospital so she started trying to get a hold of my parents. Now it was late at night, so my parents, being the deep sleepers that they are, did not hear the telephone ring. After trying multiple times, Mrs. Osucha was still in a panic and decided to bring me home. She thought that hopefully my parents would hear the doorbell ring and wonder what was going on. So Me, Kels and Mrs. Osucha hoped in the car and I was home bound. I kept the towel on my lip the whole time, and when we finally got to my house, the doorbell ringing began. I’m not quite sure how many times we rang the doorbell; all I know is that it took a lot of rings for my parents to wake up. So when they finally answered the door, they brought us all inside. Mrs. Osucha explained to them what happened and explained how she didn’t know if I would need stitches or not. The plan was that I would go to bed, and if it still looks bad in the morning they’ll take me to the hospital. So Mrs. Osucha and Kelsey left and I climbed into bed. That morning, my mom called the doctor and they explained that it was too late for stitches no matter how bad it was. I had to live with a hole beneath my lip until it healed. Every day we treated the cut with an antibiotic. Day-by-day we saw it getting better. Till this day I have a small scar in the shape of a tooth underneath my lip that reminds me not only of the night I put my tooth through my skin but of the friendship I have with Kelsey Osucha.

10/18-10/22 Creepiest Thing
The creepiest/ scariest place I have ever been and experienced was Delaware Road. Delaware road is located in Clarence connecting Goodrich and Salt Street. There are no houses or street lights located on this so called haunted road. Most people know about Delaware Road and the horror it has brought some people. It is said that you could see a man standing on the side of the road holding a lantern. Another story roaming around is that a while ago, black people were hung in the fields of Delaware Road, and they have come back to haunt anyone who comes. Nothing extreme happened to me the night I went down Delaware Road, just a few creepy occurrences. I, along with Morgan Dulski, Mary Wesolowski, Jake Penny and Zakk Garbacz loaded up the car and along we went. The car ride there I was thinking to myself what am I getting myself into? The only thing I was afraid of is what if the ghosts got into the car, and followed me home. I thought they would haunt me for the rest of my life. So we finally got there and the road seemed scarier than I imagined. Zakk Garbacz put his blinker on, and down Delaware Road we went. At first everything was okay, then about halfway down the road things started happening. All of us in the car had goose bumps and were shivering; it was the weirdest thing. Then, Morgan heard some whispering in her left ear. She wouldn’t tell what the whispers were but she swears she was not hearing things. After this happened we all started seeing things as we drove by and saw ghost-like things in the trees. I’m not sure if we all were just freaking ourselves out, all i know it that I don’t ever want to return to Delaware Road again.
10/18-10/22 Nate Bailey? Boss?
Is Nate Bailey a boss? That is a good question, I’m not quite sure. He says that he is the boss, but does anyone really know the true answer? There are two meanings of the word boss. Nate is just another human being, but does he have the qualities that fit being a “boss”? Nate is very good at sports, but he is not the whole team. If he was boss he would be the only one on the football team, winning every single game. But that’s probably not ever going to happen. Nathan although does presents himself as a boss. He wears big, shiny, diamond earrings every day to school. He additionally makes many comments about “getting money.” He says he has a lot of it, but if he really had millions of dollars, I don’t think he would be living in Alden right now. According to urban dictionary, boss means incredibly awesome, miraculous, and great. In some cases it’s like the best of its kind. Boss means anything good and positive. A boss normally acts like they rule and own everything which does fit Nate. Nate is very cocky but does he have a reason to be? I additionally believe a boss is someone who is in charge of everything. Nate right now is in charge of zip. The other version of a boss is to do with a company or business. A boss hires and exercises control over their employees. They also make the decisions and rules for that company. Someone’s boss could have a boss, and they could have a boss, too. Is Nate Baily really a boss? Nobody will know for sure until she shows more boss-like qualities.

10/18-10/22 Scary Story
One night Nate Bailey was driving home from his girlfriend’s house way past sun down. It was about a twenty minute drive back to his house but for Nathan it felt like an hour. It was fall, so the air was chilly and the trees were leafless. He was speeding down all the back roads just so he could get home faster and safe. Nate normally didn’t like being by himself, he was a baby when it came to being home alone. But he knew the faster he drove the faster he would get home to his mamma. Then all of a sudden, there was a big thump against his car. He hit the brakes as hard as he could while screaming some inappropriate words. So many things were running through his mind he didn’t know what just happened. Did I just hit someone he thought? So he got out of the car and walked around looking for anything that he possibly hit. And lying there right in front of his car was a body. The body and face didn’t look familiar to Nate since after all, he was new to the area. I can’t have a criminal record he thought. His mind was spinning; he didn’t know if he should call the cops or hide the body. And of course, since he was really thinking straight, he decided to hide the body. He took the body and started dragging it into the nearest field. He dragged the body until his arms got too tired to drag it anymore. There were no houses around so he thought he would be okay and nobody would notice it. After he covered the body with leafs and dirt, he sprinted back to his car and drove away. He assured himself that he would never think about this night ever again in his whole life. He will pretend it never happened. But as Nate walked through the door into his house, the horrible night memories were just getting started. Hanging from the staircase was the ghost of the body he hit just a few minutes ago. He blinked super quickly and all of a sudden it was gone. He thought to himself maybe he is just seeing things, since after all this was a very tragic event. But as Nathan was washing his face, he looked into the mirror and the same body was standing over him holding a knife above his head. This night for Nate was the scariest night he has ever lived. He crawled into bed and had nightmares the whole rest of the night. When he woke up, he was hoping the haunting was over with. But sure enough it wasn’t. Even years after Nate hit the man; he was still haunted all day and all night.

10/11-10/15 Paint and Draw
My favorite class ever would probably have to be paint and drawing. I took this class freshman year not knowing what to expect. I walked into class not knowing many people except my good friends, Morgan and Kelly. Little did I know that the people in painting and drawing would be partially the reason why freshman year was my favorite year of all high school. I normally enjoyed taking art classes, it always seemed easiest to me for some reason. I wasn’t thrilled about taking the class because I knew it was going to mean hard work since I was in high school now. It thought it wasn’t going to be like all the other blow off art classes I took before. But in the end it didn’t turn out that bad. I remember the first day of school there were two seniors in my class and I thought they were so annoying and rude. After awhile their annoyingness turned into funniness, and before I knew it we became really good friends. Of course they were trouble makers but I always knew when to stop and get to work. They were probably the funniest kids I have ever met. During class it would always be Me, Morgan, Kelly and the two kids hanging out and laughing. I would see them in the hallway outside of class and they would act like bigger brothers to me. It was good to feel that since going from the middle school to the high school is a big change. I enjoyed going to class because of the kids but I also enjoyed the work that we did during class. I don’t like just drawing with pencil so this was a good way to experiment with other utensils and materials. Paint and drawing was definitely a class I will never forget.
10/11-10/15 Backstreet Boys
My favorite band is Backstreet Boys and has been as long as I can remember. Their music is easy to understand yet meaningful and good. I love all the boys in Backstreet Boys, too, their all so good looking and friendly. I am proud to say that I have touched every single one of the Backstreet Boys. I have also talked and got a picture with my favorite member, Aj Mclean. He is my number one celebrity crush. It was unbelievable and a dream come true. The night it happened I couldn’t stop thinking about it and smiling. Never did I ever think I was going to actually meet Aj Mclean. He was much shorter in person but that’s okay he is still very attractive. Backstreet Boys can suit you for whatever type of mood you’re in. Either you could be jamming to Backstreet Boys in your car with a bunch of friends of you can be at home relaxing, listening to their slower songs. Also, everyone knows at least one Backstreet Boys song. As embarrassing as it may be to some people, most people my age liked Backstreet Boys when they were little and maybe even attended one of their concerts. I have attended three Backstreet Boys concerts my whole life and owned every cd possible. Whenever I put my ipod on shuffle, Backstreet Boys songs always pops up. The songs never get annoying because there is so many to choose from. The Backstreet Boys have a total of eight cd’s. No matter how many times I listen to the, I will never get sick ot the Backstreet Boys.
10/11-10/15 Oh How I Love Olive Garden
My best meal ever continues to be my best meal ever after every time I eat at Olive Garden. Every time I go to Olive Garden I order the same meal; salad, bread sticks and fettuccini Alfredo. When the pasta, salad and bread sticks are brought out to me, I am continuously blown away. I don’t know how the cooks do it, but whenever I go there it’s delicious. I try to make fettuccini on my own and it doesn’t even compare to Olive Gardens. The cooks there must have a special touch. Not do I just love the taste of their alfredo but I also love the type of noodles they use. Sometimes restaurants use too thin of noodles and I can barely tell that I’m eating pasta. Another good thing about Olive Garden is the Olive Garden to go option. For instance, after I’m done shopping at the Galleria Mall, I call, place my order, and pick it up on the way home. It’s also not too expensive. You definitely get what you pay for. Although, there is one negative thing about fettuccini alfredo; its unhealthy. The salad before the meal could be counted as healthy. That is until I drown the lettuce in salad dressing. Whenever I get to choose where my family and I are going out to dinner, I always say Oliver Garden. It’s kind of a ritual now, and they don’t bother asking me where I’d like to go because it’s obviously going to be Olive Garden. Clearly, Olive Garden is my favorite meal and could eat it every day if I had to.

10/4-10/8 The Last Song

The Last Song is another movie that I am absolutely in love with. The first time I saw it was in New York City with my best friend, Tori Delzer, her mom, and my mom. My mother and I were balling the whole movie with tissues piling up on our laps. Before seeing the movie I read the book which was written by Nicholas Sparks. I read a few other books written by him and enjoyed them all; they were crazy good. The Last Song is about a young girl who was sent to her father’s house for the summer in a Southern beach town. Miley, who plays Ronnie, does not want to be there let alone spend some time with her father. Little does Ronnie know, her father has terminal cancer. Ronnie's relationship with her father is pretty awful, but their communication gets better after she meets a nice, cute guy named Will. Will is an extremely good looking guy who makes the movie worth watching. Whenever I watch The Last Song I wish I was in Miley’s place spending all the time with Will. The movie as a whole just has a cute, happy and sad plot to it. I normally think Miley Cyrus is annoying, but in The Last Song she didn’t bother me at all. I definitely recommend watching this movie. The Last Song will make you cry about the tragedy ending, and laugh about the amazing summer Ronnie will never forget.

10/4-10/8 Hairspray

Another one of my favorite movies is Hairspray. Hairspray came out 3 years ago and when I first saw it, I fell in love. All of the characters put on a good show dancing and singing to all of the songs I later learned. All the songs were so upbeat and fun that I added them to my iPod. The racial and weight discrimination issues were managed with humor and without being offensive. One of the main characters was Zac Efron, a major crush I had at the time. He was part of the reason why I kept my eyes on the screen. From beginning to end, Hairspray put a smile on my face. It was not anywhere near boring or dull. There was so much going on; it kept me interested. At first I didn’t think I would like it because I normally don’t like musicals. But Hairspray was somehow different. I liked Hairspray so much that when I went to New York City, my mother and I got front row seats to see it on Broadway. It wasn’t as good as the movie of course because I liked the actors better. The movie is so bright and bubbly and could put anyone in a good mood.
10/4-10/8 Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen

One of my all-time favorite movies is Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. I have loved it ever since it came out in theaters and eventually learned the words, word for word. I went to go see it for the first time in theaters with my first best friend, Olivia Young. At first I didn’t like it, I thought it was weird, but as the movie went on I started to love it. Lindsay Lohan is the main character in the movie, and back then she was very popular. The movie is so fun and has a humorous side to it. Young teenage girls, like me, when I first viewed the movie, could relate to this movie extremely. Lindsay Lohan, who played Lola, was a teenage girl that was raised in New York City. She was forced to move away from the concrete jungle to a suburb of New Jersey. Lola finds herself fighting for attention and finding friends. Lohan does a great job playing the "drama queen" and for the most part her character is believable. A lot of the time she lies, makes up stories about her previous life and gets in trouble. Even though it’s an entertaining movie, there are still lessons Lola is learning on the way.
