9/27-10/1 Vacation

This summer I got to travel to California and Ocean City for two weeks with one of my best friends, Morgan Dulski. For one week we were in Santa Monica with my mom and my aunt and the next week we were in Ocean City with Momma and Papa Dulski. We had so much fun swimming in the Pacific Ocean one week and the next week being in the Atlantic. Both trips we had a blast. In California we did a lot of shopping, chilling on the beach and got to spend some time in Disneyland. The most memorable part of going to California was meeting the love of my life, Aj McLean. Aj is one of the members of the Backstreet Boys and I have adored him since I was a little girl. My mother, Aunt, Morgan and myself were leaving The Grove Mall when I spotted him. We all followed him into a movie theater and eventually ended up getting a picture with him. It was probably one the greatest days of my life. Disney was also super fun. I literally felt like I was in a fantasy land, it was crazy. We came home from California for two days, and then we were off to Ocean City. The drive there was eleven hours but that's OK because it was definitely worth it. The weather was absolutely amazing. Every single day it was blue skies and scorching hot. We were outside all day every day. We hung out by the beach, at our campground and on the boardwalk. My favorite part of Ocean City i would have to say was the teen night clubs. They were so much fun, there’s nothing like it here in buffalo. The foam party was probably the best night. I had fun traveling from coast to coast, and everything about the trip was incredible.

9/27-10/1 Favorite Season

The weathers warm and school is out, what’s not to love about summer? Summer has been my favorite season as long as I can remember. Everything about summer is just so much more fun than in winter, spring or fall. In the winter, I hibernate and do absolutely nothing. There’s nothing to do when it’s freezing and the snow makes you incapable to walk anywhere. Some people enjoy snowboarding but not me, I enjoy laying outside in the sun and relaxing. Another major reason why I love summer is that there is no school. During the school year I’m always stressed with school, homework and work. I feel like I never have enough time to do anything. In the summer I have so much time to get everything done plus time where I could lounge around and be bored. Also, in the summer you barely ever get sick. I just feel all around better in the summer. I am also more in shape in the summer because I like to go outside and be active. In the summer I’m also much tanner compared to the white, ghost I am in the winter. A reason why I despise winter is because of the snow. It keeps you locked in your house, gets you sick, makes driving places so much more difficult, and ruins my car. The summer is a time to relax, make some money, and have some fun.

9/20-9/24 Past

So let’s travel back a few years to when I was just getting out of 4th grade and at the gymnastics gym for summer camp. I have been working out there all summer just trying to get all my tricks completed and perfected for meet season. I was aiming to be level six. Being in level six means more work and more willingness to take risks. There was a group of girls working for the same position as I was. Whoever got the tricks got to be in level six, and whoever didn’t stayed in level five. I wanted that place on the team and there was no way I was staying in a certain level for two years in a row. I remember thinking that it was so unprofessional and only the bad, lazy girls stayed on the same level for two years in a row. I had my routine set on bars and I was so excited. Vault was all set too. The only events I was struggling on was beam and floor. On the floor I needed my round off back hand spring back tuck which is a back tuck. I remember it being so difficult and I couldn’t just get it by myself. I was afraid and always needed a spot. Until one day, my coach told a little white lie and said she was spotting me when she really wasn’t. She kept telling me that I had it all by myself but I was too scared. And that one time she didn’t spot me I did it all by myself! The rest of the day I did my back tuck about twenty times, I was so happy. Since that day I’ve been able to do my back tuck!

9/20-9/24 Present

I just love my life! I love my family and my friends; I don’t know what I would do without them. I love how things just work out the way I want them to. I honestly am so lucky. I am healthy and I have parents that care. My parents do so much for me and I appreciate it greatly. My friends are also great. We always have a good time no matter what we do. Almost every weekend we all get together and have a sleepover. My mom is also considered one of my best friends. I love going places with her and just hanging out. We’re so much alike it’s crazy. School right now is pretty good, too. The reason I’m probably enjoying it so much is because of my simple schedule. Every other day I have late arrival so I get another hour of sleep! Also, I really haven’t had any bad teachers throughout my high school years. I also love that I don’t have to pay for my car or for my car insurance. I love my car and I’m so thankful. I do pay for my gas with the money that I pay for with my amazing job! I work at gymnastics sports academy coaching three to five year olds. No lie, I look forward going to work every Tuesday and Thursday. Normally, kids annoy me but the kids in my class are so cute and fun. It also is an easy way to make money! My life so far has been great and I can’t wait for what the future brings.

9/20-9/24 Future

Graduating from high school is a scary and exciting step in your lifet. I’m not quite positive where I want to go or what I want to do but I do have some things in mind. For college I definitely want to go far away or go to a big school. My dream is to go to Arizona State but it’s a big change moving from buffalo to Phoenix. But that’s my plan when I get older; moving from the cold Buffalo to warm Arizona. I also have been looking colleges near Alden and also a few hours away. One day my mother and I drove through Pennsylvania and looked a few colleges. I really liked Slippery Rock, it was very clean and the buildings looked super nice. I’m not sure what I want to do when I’m older as a career, it’s too hard for me to decide right now. I’d love to do something to do with gymnastics. Gymnastics has been a part of me my whole life so it would be cool to have a job revolving around gymnastics. I was thinking of maybe opening a gym naming it Flip and Twist Gymnastics Center. I would like to marry a rich, handsome man who is older than me. We will have no kids so we can go out and spend all of our income on ourselves. My husband and I will drive shiny sports cars such as a Lamborghini or Ferrari. I’m sure everything won’t work out the way I want it to but as long as I’m happy I will be okay. My future plans are still undecided all I know is that I want to be successful.

9/13-9/17 #3

It was a Sunday afternoon and of course I wasn’t relaxing, I was working on the toilet. It seems like every weekend I find a new project I need to work on and this weeks was a dirty one. I was dreading sticking my head in the toilet trying to find why it wasn’t working properly. I was playing around with the tubes and cords when all of a sudden my new obnoxious puppy ran in and tackled me to the floor. She was supposed to be locked in her kennel but somehow she managed to escape. But because I was all by myself I decided to let her stay with me to keep me company and back to work I went. As I turned one tube, the whole toilet started shaking and going crazy. This was not good I thought and to my surprise water started shooting out of the toilet uncontrollably! I was not expecting this to happen at all and I didn’t know what was going to happen next so I grabbed my dog and screamed until the water flow stopped. Till this day I don’t know why the toilet started spraying water but I do know that I now have a ceiling to fix.

The weather has been bad for three days straight now and Brandon wondered if it was ever going to change. He was on summer break and he was ready for the warm weather to begin. He had big plans for the summer such as building a tree house and joining a bowling team. But this bad weather was keeping him from going anywhere. It got so bad that Brandon’s house eventually lost power. He had no access to the internet and wasn’t able to watch the news to keep updated on the storm. So just like every other day, he was sitting on his comfy chair, reading a book. The past three days Brandon has been reading the same book and he was getting quite bored of it. So today he decided he was going to do something different; he was going to iron all the clothes in his closet. Just as he was ironing his favorite dress shirt, his house started shaking violently. Brandon went to the window and as he looked outside he saw his house flying through the air. The next thing he knew the roof blew off and he was flying through the air along with his valuables. Just before he was going to crash into another building, Brandon woke up from his dream.

One very strange and eventful day, Colorado was sitting on his porch enjoying the beautiful day. Lying next to him was his all-time favorite birthday present, a dog. All of Colorado’s life he has been wishing for the most perfect Dalmatian and when the day came, he was ecstatic. He decided to name the Dalmatian Skylar. When he received the gift, his Mom said to treat him well because this dog is one special Dalmatian. Colorado didn’t think much of it until the day Skylar started mooing. Colorado thought that his dog was acting awfully weird that morning, and when he started to moo that just topped it off. Maybe a walk will help calm Skylar down, Colorado thought. So he tied Skylar to a leash and away they went. They took a walk down the road and into the nature trail for about two hours. By the time Colorado and Skylar got home, they were both exhausted. As they were walking into the house, Colorado saw something that he never thought he would ever see before. As Colorado was taking off his shoes, he saw all the spots on Skylar’s body coming off. The spots were coming off into the air, and flying out the window. Colorado couldn’t believe his eyes; maybe that’s why his Mom said it was one special dog.
